Since 2004 SE Forum has successfully conducted a number of projects. Some of the projects are listed below. Fore more detailed information on a specific project, simply click on the corresponding link.
SE Outreach
With multi-year funding support from Sida (the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency), SE Outreach is a full service incubator program aimed at supporting and facilitating the emergence of social entrepreneurs whose innovations and ideas have the potential to meet global MDG’s and problems related to poverty, health, exclusion, environmental degradation and other complex problems in developing countries. The program is designed to have a leverage effect for entrepreneurs in the process of developing their ideas into action and sustainable operations, creating social and environmental impact.
SE Forum has throughout its history had a strong focus on the role that social entrepreneurship can have on development and poverty reduction in low-income countries. This has been reflected in many of our activities, and leads us to the upcoming launch of this new program. SE Outreach is a multi-faceted program supporting entrepreneurs both in Sweden and abroad who are working on complex problems in developing countries. Some of the services SE Outreach provides include:
- COACHING AND MENTORING support services and advice on idea development, business models, and funding structures.
- CREATIVE IDEA LAB with workshops and sessions for active problem solving around entrepreneurs’ own and external challenges.
- FACILITATION around the interaction between the entrepreneur and the outside world (stakeholders, partners and target groups).
- VIRTUAL WEB PLATFORM with a global reach that includes networking contacts, sharing of experiences, problems and solutions.
- SEMINARS, EVENTS, AND MEETINGS, based on the format of SE BAR and SE Seminars, which will provide entrepreneurs with new tools and skills.
