What’s going on out there?

Are you interested in Social Entrepreneurship and international perspectives? Looking for inspiration and information beyond what you see in the daily news feed?

If you have attended any of SE Forum’s regular series of learning opportunities (such as SE-Bar and SE-Breakfast) featuring its network of organizations and social entrepreneurs, you may have heard about some of the international field studies and projects that SE Forum has been involved in.

The role of the social entrepreneur varies from country to country, depending on the organization of welfare services and other public measures, as well as the roles played by NGOs and the private sector. The members and the board of SE Forum have extensive knowledge about projects from the international arena. Beginning this month, we’ll be taking the next step toward combining our experience and international network as we collect ideas and information about organizations and projects that we believe in. We invite you to join us in exploring growing trends and developments in countries and organizations that have been successful in the area of social entrepreneurship. The results of our research efforts will appear in the form of inspiring facts and real-world examples from the international social entrepreneurship community posted on this website.

We are currently looking for people who are interested in volunteering for this project. Your commitment in terms of time and energy is flexible, and will be based on your own schedule and interests. If you are curious about participating and brainstorming, please contact Josefin Uhnbom for more information: josefin.uhnbom@gmail.com.
